SEO / Internet Marketer
This is a fabulous opportunity for an ambitious individual to learn SEO and Online Marketing from scratch. This is very much a practical hands on role giving you the opening to build your career and develop real expertise in search engine optimisation. Working in a small and profitable company, you will be responsible for helping ensure the success of a number of niche web sites in the online dating market.
Your role will include driving traffic to a varied portfolio of online dating sites. Following a clear methodology, you will use various resources and online tools to make the sites get plenty of visitors through organic search.
Additionally, you will be fully involved in executing specific online marketing campaigns, whilst tracking and measuring their success. In a minor capacity you will interpret site visitor patterns, review search engine presence for key terms and make amendments to sites where necessary, but the guts of the SEO role are being hands on, and making things happen.
Key Responsibilities
Increasing visibility of a range of web sites and improving natural search engine using on page keyword optimisation together with a number of creative strategies. This will include tactical work such as link building, adding sites to directories, forum seeding, content creation, online article submission, regular blogging and social networking.
Skills and Competence
This is a hands on role where you will need to be comfortable working in a small team, and be able to work on your own on a number of projects at any one time. You will be a self starter, a do-er rather than a talker, with a can do attitude and the ability to think for yourself.
